Action Canada supports and works with a strong and growing network of independently incorporated Canadian organizations with shared values and a commitment to promoting the sexual and reproductive health and rights of all people.
Associate organizations offer a range of sexual health services significant to the area in which they reside. These include sexual health education and free services related to sexuality, pregnancy options, birth control, STI prevention, information and counseling on basic anatomy, menstruation, menopause and counseling for pregnant women. Some associate organizations also offer clinical services and/or birth control methods including testing for sexually transmitted infections, HIV testing, and Pap tests, and/or free condoms or prescriptions for emergency contraception.
These services are covered under most provincial health care programs, and respect the privacy and anonymity of every individual who uses these facilities and programs.
